TRADESMEN around Monash are being warned by police not to leave their tools in unlocked cars.
Construction zones had been targeted in recent months by opportunistic thieves who were scanning sites for unlocked cars.
Tradesmen are being asked to engrave their tools with their licence details to help police identify and recover stolen property.
