A MAN died after being hit by a train in Clayton last Monday. Police believe the man, who was in his 20s, was hit by a city-bound train while crossing the tracks about 500 metres west of Clayton station.
Trains on the Dandenong and Pakenham lines were suspended and bus services ordered for commuters.
There were also delays on Clayton Road. Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
