STREET photographer Jesse Marlow has taken out the prestigious Bowness Photography Prize for his snap on the streets of Melbourne.
The Bowness award, established in 2006, is sponsored by the MGA foundation and celebrates excellence in photography.
Mr Marlow, who beat 41 other finalists for the $25,000 prize, is the first street photographer to win the award.
His photo will be on display at the Monash Gallery of Art until November 18. Details: mga.org.au.
