GLEN Waverley's Rhydian Cowley set a new personal best for the 10-kilometre walk during the IAAF World Race Walking Challenge last month in Erdos, China.
Cowley, who competes for Glenhuntly Athletics, got a time of 43 minutes, 24 seconds and finished in 12th place behind three other Australians Dane Bird-Smith, Luke Adams and Jared Tallent.
