Clayton Rd level crossing in RACV spotlight

CLAYTON Road's level crossing has again been included in the 10 worst in the 2012 RACV Redspot Survey. The crossing came in at No. 7 and has been in the survey's top 10 trouble spots since 2010.

The RACV found that the boom gates at the crossing were down 45 per cent of the time during the morning peak, causing serious delays and queues along Clayton Road. "The rail line must be put under the road," the survey stated.
