WAVERLEY Hockey Club snared two premiership wins during Hockey Victoria grand final day last Saturday.
The Panthers won the men's pennant A grand final and the women's side the metro south-east 4 grand final.
The Panthers men needed extra time to win their premiership as their clash with Camberwell ended 2-2 in regular time.
After a Camberwell goal in the final seconds cancelled out goals from Wes Moore and Harry Byrnes, the Panthers clinically executed a penalty corner during extra time with Andrew Shelton's strike deflected into the net by David Jensen for a golden goal and a 3-2 win.
The Panthers women won their premiership with a 3-1 victory with Keira Bates, Bethany Lyon and Bronwyn Maddock scoring the goals.
Among the two senior sides were some of the Panthers' rising junior players with under-15 players Brayden Lyon and Damon Steffens along with Stephen Head in the men's team, with the women's side containing under-15 players Bates and Isabelle Wright, along with 12-year-old Bethany Lyon.
