MONASH council has joined forces with Waverley Private Hospital to expand its Little Steps program to help mothers like Zahra Millwala and her daughter Aamena.
The program, which started in 2010, helps parents with babies who have difficulty sleeping and is eligible for babies between eight weeks and six months old. A referral from a maternal and child health nurse is needed.
The program also has support for parents who speak Mandarin.
The free program runs every Tuesday fortnight and every Wednesday in Cabena Crescent, Oakleigh.
