FORMER Glen Waverley resident James Connor will thrive on the experience of competing in the men's 10-metre platform event at the Olympic Games.
Connor, 17, had a total of 427.45 which ranked him 20th after the qualifying round of dives. He missed out on a semi-final spot.
The final was won by David Boudia of the US with a 568.65 total.
