TWO men have been rushed to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries, after a two-vehicle crash in Mount Waverley.
About 10am, emergency services were called to the intersection of High Street Road and Stephensons Road where a car and a cement truck had collided.
The driver of the car sustained serious head injuries and was taken to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition.
The truck driver was treated by four paramedics for about an hour while emergency services worked to free him after being trapped in his vehicle.
He sustained serious leg and pelvis injuries and was taken to The Alfred in a stable condition.
Two west-bound lands on Stephensons Road are closed and police are redirecting traffic.
