A PIT BULL that Monash Council condemned to death has received a stay on its execution in a dramatic 11-thhour reprieve.
The dog, known as Kerser, has had his death sentence put on hold for 14 days.
It is unclear why his execution has been postponed.
Protesters and RSPCA staff were evacuated this afternoon from the RSPCA in Burwood East following the announcement due to a bomb threat on the premises.
