AT the time of going to print I've just landed in Hamilton, New Zealand for the fourth round of this year's V8 Supercars Championship Series.
The No. 3 Centaur Commodore always seems to race well here, and I'm looking forward to making sure we continue our recent Adelaide success.
There have been a couple of minor changes to the circuit, some widening of the road on certain corners, which will no doubt bring the lap times down as we generate some more speed and have more room to play with.
This time of the season usually sees things heat up a bit with all 29 drivers starting to get used to their cars and the teams starting to find a groove in the way they go about their business.
Given our recent seventh at the Clipsal 500, the team is pumped and our goal is to keep getting inside the top 10.
We have two 200-kilometre races here and those concrete walls loom large, so the pressure to concentrate and stay out of trouble will be full on.
Our schedule really picks up now, with just one week's break before we head to Queensland, then another week off before a trip to Winton.
All going to plan, we'll keep our record of finishing every race this season intact and continue to mix it with some of the bigger multi-car teams.
