THE No. 3 Centaur Commodore is barely recognisable. It's been totally stripped back as the boys give it a complete clean and upgrade any parts required before we head to Phillip Island in mid-September.

The past week and much of the coming week has us focusing on locking down our sponsorship properties moving into 2011, which is vital, especially if we want to keep moving up the grid. As you can probably appreciate, sponsors play a major role in V8 Supercars and we are always on the lookout for partners to join us.

We have a test day coming up at the end of August, so the next two weeks will be hectic as we put the car back together, but for me there will be a real emphasis on training as well.

I want to go into the endurance races in peak physical condition as it can prove to be a decisive factor, especially at a place like Bathurst. We're really keen to put our best foot forward and give it everything we've got over the second half of the season and a podium at Phillip Island or Bathurst would be a dream come true.
