Blackout chaos

25 Aug, 2008 02:06 PM
THE Oakleigh Cannons had everything to play for in yesterday's away game against Whittlesea.

The Cannons started the day seventh on the ladder and could have finished as high as fourth with a win.

The Cannons still have one game left following the cancellation last week of their twice-postponed fixture with the Melbourne Knights.

The lights went out after 19 minutes last Wednesday night and when the problem could not be fixed, officials called it a night.

The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow night at Somers Street but should it be wet there is a chance it could be played at Bob Jane Stadium.
