OAKLEIGH got back on the Victorian Amateur Football Association winner's list with a thumping 77-point win over Old Essendon on Saturday.
After an even first half, the Krushers blew the visitors away with a 12 goals to three third term to win 20.20 (140) to 9.9 (63) led by Dermot Cleary with six goals, debutante Rodney Jetta with five, and Trevor Bromley four.
Another debutante, Steve Scott, and Chris Hogan, were also valuable contributors in what was a team effort.
The reserves also bounced back with a hard-fought win, 14.14 (98) to 11.5(71).
Matt Bennett kicked four goals and Tom Nelson and Daniel Costigan three each.
The under-19s withstood a physical Old Xaverians challenge to post a 13-goal victory. Paul Ioaniddis, Nick Seel and Jake Pappon were among the best.
A depleted under-18s lost to Werribee by 18 goals but retained second spot on the ladder. Todd Harold, Luke Morin and Dylan Ruddy were among the Krushers' best.
