EASTERN FOOTBALL LEAGUE

MULGRAVE teams recorded their second winning trifecta of the season against Bayswater on Saturday. All three teams are sitting on top of the ladder. The seniors, after struggling in wet conditions, won by four points following a goal on the final siren by Harrod Fearon-Brown.

The Lions won the heart-stopper 11.5(71) to 9.13(67), with Luke Simpson kicking two goals and being among nine goal kickers. Alan Cleven, Sam Zikman and Brad Fowler were best afield for the Lions.

The reserves won a bit more convincingly, 11.9(75) to 7.6(48) with Matt Richards, Glenn Hewitt, Brad Rooney and Cliff Aikman kicking two goals each. Ian McLennan, Eddie Devencentis and Garry Nash were among the Lions' best.

The Colts won a see-sawing game by 15 points, 10.17(77) to Bayswater's 8.14(62). Steve Rogers and Anthony Willenberg kicked three goals each. Willenberg, Josh Kendall and Nick Ahearn were the Lions' best.
