Chasing the Cavaliers' first innings score of 6-407, the Kings could manage only 188 in reply.
Three teams are now in equal second spot with each of them having five wins and one defeat to their record.
Emerald Hill, Trinity and Mount Waverley Uniting join Cavaliers in the top quartet of teams, while Glen Waverley is close behind following its convincing victory against Chadstone Harlequins.
At the other end of the table, Monash posted its first win of the season getting home by three wickets against Toorak-Prahran.
