BACK-to-back Big V basketball state championship men's title winners Waverley Falcons have made a key signing for the 2012 season. The Falcons have signed Melbourne Tigers NBL guard Bennie Lewis.
The high-scoring guard is known for his streaky shooting skills and athletic drives to the basket. He only plays a reserve role in the NBL but has a reputation of being a prolific scorer when playing in the Big V.
Lewis adds to the Falcons' depth at guard as they attempt to win third straight championship this year.
The club is expected to announce further signings leading into the new season.
