Walking the walk

29 Nov, 2010 12:00 AM
Four-year-old Jackson was all smiles at the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre in Glen Waverley after receiving some good news.

The centre received a $15,000 donation from the annual Monash mayor's golf day, which was organised by Monash Rotary groups. The money will go towards new children's walkers.

CPEC chief executive officer Garry Prigg said Jackson was a great example of how the walkers would help. "If he hadn't come to us, he wouldn't be walking. It's still hard work for him but one day he'll be walking independently."
