Sporty funds for Monash reserves

19 Feb, 2012 07:37 PM
TWO sports reserves in Monash will get a much-needed fillip in funding from the state government.

Minister for Sport and Recreation Hugh Delahunty announced last Tuesday that the government would provide $140,000 worth of funding to improve the lighting at Mulgrave Reserve and include junior and female changerooms, a referees room and toilets at Wellington Reserve.

The funding will be in addition to Monash Council's contribution of $120,000 to the Wellington Reserve project and another $52,000 to the Mulgrave Reserve upgrade.
