Rockin' at the Wheelers

20 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
BEERS, blues, barbecues and views are part of the Wheelers Hill hotel's upcoming entertainment program.

The hotel throws open its doors every Sunday for a laidback blues session with no cover charge and free barbecue on the deck from 2pm.

Come on down and have a few bevvies while admiring the views and the music. Redhouse will entertain on Sunday, February 26, Cold Snap on Sunday, March 4, and Bo Jenkins on Sunday, March 11.

Then, be entertained by The Poor, who started out playing the pub circuit in Darwin nearly two decades ago with Aussie pub rock, straight to the point, rock'n'roll.

The Poor will perform on Friday, March 16, with tickets pre-sale $20 and at the door $25.

Tickets are available from Ticketmaster or the hotel. A booking fee may apply. Entry is to those over 18. Photo ID required. Doors open at 8pm.

Wheelers Hill Hotel is on the corner Jells and Ferntree Gully roads, Wheelers Hill, phone: 95608922.
