THE Australian Electoral Commission is asking new citizens to celebrate Australia Day by enrolling to vote.
Staff from the electoral commission will be at citizenship ceremonies across the state on January 26 to help new citizens enrol.
AEC Victorian state manager Jenni McMullan said it was important for citizens to have the privilege of voting.
