Some say charity begins at home, but the Rotary Club of Wheelers Hill headed to north-central Victoria to spread goodwill this Christmas. This month, a convoy from the club delivered $12,000 in clothes and toys to Nathalia, a farming community severely affected by drought. Rotary's community services director, Brian Milnes (pictured right with club president Paul Isaac), said the club felt compelled to help after hearing of the financial stresses. He said clothing and toy outlets' generosity helped stretch the club's budget.
