Oakleigh South hold-up witnesses sought

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two men held up a supermarket in Oakleigh South last Wednesday afternoon.

The men entered the supermarket on Macrina Street at about 3.30pm.

One man approached the counter with a firearm and demanded cash before fleeing with some money. The pair were last seen heading along Ferntree Gully Road.

They have been described to police as Caucasian and being in their late teens or early 20s. One was wearing a blue T-shirt with a white T-shirt covering his face.

The other man was wearing shorts and also had a T-shirt over his face.
