No kidding

Clayton pet Red the goat sparked off a frantic search by her owners, police, the public and the media when she went for a stroll last week. Red's owners feared she had been kidnapped when she disappeared from her grassy compound behind Reece Plumbers in Clayton on June 20. In fact, she had escaped through the fence and walked to Smith Road, Springvale, where she was fed by residents. Four days later, after reading reports of the missing pet, her minders notified police who reunited her with owner John Farmer, of Reece Plumbing. Picture: Ted Kloszynski
