Syndal North Girl Guides opens its doors to the public this week to show the community what Guiding is all about. Melissa Hay, of the Syndal North district, said Girl Guides taught confidence, friendship, self-esteem, leadership and life skills to girls and young women. Members Kim, 10, Kelly, 10, and Tess, 11, are looking forward to welcoming new friends to the group.
