Daddy's special day

06 Sep, 2010 01:00 AM
WHILE most dads enjoyed breakfast in bed or a day out with their family for Father's Day yesterday, David Hayes, with his wife Rebecca and two-year-old daughter Charlotte, spent the day in the Monash Medical Centre's neonatal unit with their four-month-old twins, Ella and William. The pair were born on April 21 at 25 weeks, weighing just 750 grams. Speaking to the Weekly last Friday, Mr Hayes said : "We know we've got a bright future ahead of us and that's the greatest gift of all on Father's Day."
