MONASH Council has rejected claims that its $100,000 study of 'baby boomers' is a waste of money, calling
the study important for "the future of the City of Monash.''

KPMG Property Advisory Services Group head demographer Bernard Salt, who has been commissioned to conduct the study, said the council's move was a "proactive rather than reactive'' response.
